A Place to Stand
To those ethnic Hawaiians who are leaders in such racially exclusionary institutions, or who actively work for racial separatism or ethnic nationalism, you are my political enemy, and it should come as no surprise that I attack your ideas.

Hawaiian culture, music, hula, and language today is not the product of a racial group, does not belong to a racial group, and is not transmitted genetically. A nation or society belongs to all its people, who have a right to be treated equally regardless of race.

Whites have been enslaved in far larger numbers and over much longer periods of time than Blacks throughout history, particularly the Irish and the Scottish, contrary to popular belief.

It seems to me as a species we like to play games, especially games that let us boss people around. The more insecure one is the more control one seeks.

From the start, we are encouraged to identify our being with limited ideologies. This in turn segregates humanity by creating “teams.” Once you choose one team the other teams inherently become your competition. Each team wants to be the “winner” because the participants within the team believe themselves to hold the bottom line truths about the world; it is not until the players transcend their team’s truths that they might join (or are encouraged to join) another team more inline with their new set of truths.

In this way, we are taught to see ourselves competing with one another using a multitude of separative concepts (i.e. ethnic identity, socio-economic status, religion, profession, political affiliation, nationalism, and other “-isms”). What is often left out are the fundamental concepts which allow us to reconnect with others; the little reminder that we are all human beings seeking love in our own individual way on a shared planet with a finite amount of time. So does it not seem more reasonable to live in harmony with your fellow man than to play these mind games? Probably, but the problem is most don’t even realize they are playing a game. Recognizing one’s game is the first step to cleaning one’s perceptual lens. And we hold the capacity to show as much understanding as we can - it is always a choice.

I cannot and will not respect your “opinion” if it blatantly engages in the systematic oppression of (including, but not limited to), Women, Homosexuals, and Minorities. If you are a man, you have No Right to tell me what I will do with my body. If you are Straight, you have No Right to tell me, as a homosexual, who I’m going to Love. And if you are part of the privileged class of society (i.e. Heterosexual, White, and Male), don’t expect me to bow down to Your ideals of what My life should be, Simple As That.
Jane Elliot Exposing White Supremacy

So last night I saw a video of an experiment by Jane Elliot called “The Angry Eye.” I watched this experiment over and over, to be sure that I caught every detail and didn’t miss anything. For hours, I tossed and turned just thinking about all the whole experiment, and how watching these two short clips has practically changed my life. It was so insightful, and I learned so much as a White person in society. Until last night, I don’t think I’ve even been able to half-grasp what it must be like to be of color. This experiment that she performed was such an eye-opener, and the way she related breaking down White Supremacy to the five stages of grief was true, intelligent, even genius.

I think every White person in America needs to sit down, shut up, and listen to exactly what Jane Elliot has to say. Sadly, many comments made under Jane Elliot’s video were aimed toward preserving White Supremacy, obviously by White people. And the problem here is that many Whites cannot see past their Vanity. Furthermore, if it was not in your interest to preserve your vanity and our White Supremacist society, you would stop arguing about whether it is valid for her to be exposing White Supremacy. It exists, whether you are going to acknowledge the fact or not. And if you don’t acknowledge the fact, then you are part of the problem, not solution.

Jane Elliot states, “White people’s number one freedom in the United State of America is the freedom to be totally ignorant about those who are other than White. We don’t have to learn about those who are other than White. And our number two freedom is to deny that we’re ignorant.” Here, she elaborates that as White, privileged members of society, we have the freedom to be ignorant, deny our ignorance, and as she later infers in her video, preserve it! Let’s think about that for a minute. What a tragedy. And what an even greater tragedy it is that so many White people after watching this video are yet STILL aiming to preserve White Supremacy (as indicated in the comments below the video).

So I recommend that all privileged members of society take in this video and internalize it. Let this be a learning experience without trying to preserve vanity and White Supremacy.

Understanding White Supremacy!

Part 2: http://youtu.be/neEVoFODQOE

You wanna talk cultural appropriation? Look at the Irish. Their entire culture is appropriated from Scotland…except for the excessive drinking and leprechauns. But the bagpipes, kilts, step dancing, celtic music…all of that originates from Scotland. They say that the ancient Irish peoples most…

VERY well written. I encourage EVERY ONE of my followers to read this.

There are people that perpetuate the stereotype that to “Talk Black” means to speak with slang and broken English. What exactly does this infer? It infers that to “Talk White” means to speak with the use of proper and perfect English. This belief is centered around White Supremacy. Sadly, Whites AND Blacks perpetuate this belief.

The word is pure magic, and we use it against ourselves. We plan revenge. We create chaos in the word. We use the word to create hate between races, between different people, between families, between nations. We misuse the word so often, and this misuse is how we create and perpetuate the dream of Hell.
The Four Agreements
What an Odd Notion.

“My People Against Your People!”

We are beyond the flesh, and even the mind. When we really become in tune with our spiritual selves through practicing peace and meditation, we understand that we really are beyond boundaries. There is an entire universe out there, and we are all part of the same universe. The notion that we are separate is an illusion, and sadly, many buy into this illusion.

Learn to open your mind and live a life of Love, of the understanding that We Are All One. Only then are you free of the illusions of this world. You are bound by nothing and no one.

Whatever goes against the Book of Law (internal belief system) will make you feel fear. Breaking the rules in the Book of Law opens your emotional wounds, and your reaction is to create emotional poison. Because everything that is in the Book of Law has to be true, anything that challenges what you believe is going to make you feel unsafe. Even if the Book of Law is wrong, it makes you Feel safe.

We allow our ignorance to prevail upon us and make us think we can survive alone. Alone in patches, alone in groups, alone in races, even alone in genders.
