She looks WHITE in this picture, as she has lately. Seems like she is trying to be part of the white world, and the Black community worships her for this. Hmm.. interesting.

Just google search, “Beyonce, 2013” and tell me I’m not speaking the truth. White media puts messages out there, and black people like Beyonce are feeding right into their hands.

Fuck the media. Be your own person, and the more oppression you have to deal with, the stronger that makes you. It breaks my heart to see women that try to look different than who they naturally are.

This literally makes no sense. Wearing make up or dressing a certain way doesn’t make you more likely to get pregnant at 16. First of all, this is slut-shaming to the max. Secondly…wearing makeup or dressing a certain way doesn’t mean you’re having sex. Thirdly, if the child has sex, it does not mean they’re having unprotected sex…even tho if they were we know nothing is guaranteed and shit happens. I guess if someone my age dresses “provocatively” I am at a higher risk of unplanned pregnacy? GTFO

If we want to talk to teens about safer sex practices, then lets just talk about that. Personally, I don’t think that wearing makeup, dressing provocatively and getting pregnant have anything to do with each other.
On a different note, I will say that I wouldn’t teach my daughter to wear makeup because it is important for her to not buy into the medias idea of beauty, but her own. Young girls are brainwashed by the media into believing they MUST wear makeup, and mothers need to realize that the media is a threat to their child’s well being; teach against it.

Looking deeper into the psychology of why young women dress provocatively in the first place is clearly a matter of her wanting to draw attention to herself because she feels insecure, ignored, or hurt, and is seeking out attention from anyone and everyone she can. I speak from past personal experience.

We should also look in to WHY a lot of women become pregnant at 16. There is a high link between not having a father around growing up and teen pregnancy. There is also a high risk for pregnancy among teens living in poverty. And yes, it takes two to tango. The problem here is that we are blaming young women only. TWO people created this child, and if two teens are not going to practice safe sex at such a young age then they have no business having sex at all, for the sake of the poor baby.

Getting back to my original point, I think we need to talk about safe sex practices for young teens instead of bashing their situation. Its always important to come from an angle of understanding and encouragement, because you don’t get massages through by trying to bash people, it just worsens the situation.
