I'm getting infernally SICK of the white whiners... →
Look, I’m going to explain this as clearly as possible. The exercise was to teach white people/white passing people about the daily racism that POC face by putting them in a position to be discriminated against constantly. This was the point of the “A Class Divided” exercise. Now, these students…

"The Angry Eye" | part 2 | Brown Eye-Blue Eye...
(Upon the arrival of a white student who stormed out during the workshop because their fee fee's were hurt) Jane Elliot: You don’t come back in here until you’ve apologized to every person in this room, Because you just exercised a freedom that none of these people of color have. When these people of color get tired of racism, they can’t just walk out, because there’s no place in this country where they aren’t going to be exposed to racism. They can’t even stay in their own homes and not be exposed to racism if they turn on their television. But you, as a white female, when you get tired of being judged and treated unfairly on the basis of your eye color, you can walk out that door, and you know it won’t happen out there. You exercised a freedom they don’t have. If you’re going to be in here you’re going to apologize to every person of color in this room. And do it now.
Ignorant White Student: I’m sorry there’s racism in this country—
Jane Elliot: BULLSHIT! No, you’re not going to say ‘I’m sorry there’s racism.’ You’re going to apologize for what YOU just did.
Ignorant White Student: I will not apologize because it’s not a matter of race always—
Jane Elliot: OUT!

When you say that, you are saying: The tears and feelings of these white people (who know that it is an exercise and are getting something out of it in the end) are more important than the necessity of learning a SMALL bit about racism and acknowledging that POC are treated differently than…

Jane Elliot Exposing White Supremacy
So last night I saw a video of an experiment by Jane Elliot called “The Angry Eye.” I watched this experiment over and over, to be sure that I caught every detail and didn’t miss anything. For hours, I tossed and turned just thinking about all the whole experiment, and how watching these two short clips has practically changed my life. It was so insightful, and I learned so much...

Rafiki's Cove: Cultural appropriation.... →
You wanna talk cultural appropriation? Look at the Irish. Their entire culture is appropriated from Scotland…except for the excessive drinking and leprechauns. But the bagpipes, kilts, step dancing, celtic music…all of that originates from Scotland. They say that the ancient Irish peoples most… VERY well written. I encourage EVERY ONE of my followers to read this.
